Practice description

Research shows that people would rather experience physical pain than emotional pain. These tough times can make us feel hopeless, vulnerable, and powerless. As we know, we cannot avoid life’s hurts that leave us with pain, guilt, anger, and shame; however, we can learn from these emotions. Emotions influence our thinking processes, impacting how we see the world. Therapy can help clear these barriers of uncertainty, which can prevent us from achieving our personal goals, getting that promotion, or achieving a healthy relationship.

My practice is not limited as I work with trauma, toxic masculinity, addictions, and other psychiatric disorders. I am also a doctoral candidate, which allows me to share new therapeutic philosophies backed by research. Therapy is my passion; my specialty is connecting with people to help them move on from past hurts and live more in the present.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your courage. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space for people to explore in a trusting and safe environment, which will allow you to share your story, pain, and uncertainty. Improving your mental health is a journey that will provide healing and personal growth.
